Charlie has been making larger ‘spike’ forms (up to 1.5metres tall) for most of his career. Initially shown as garden sculptures, they are now shown in groups in interiors as well as outdoor settings. Sway is Charlie’s response to how the ‘spike’ forms interact with each other when they are shown together. By grouping the forms, looking at how the colours and movement of each piece relates to the other pieces in the group.
