Gathering Clouds

Although only 15 miles or so away from Alexanders' home, a day trip to the Ayrshire coast was a great adventure. Seaside resorts with beaches, castles and the optical illusion of the Electric Brae where the car seemed to roll uphill were all fascinating to this wee boy.And on the horizon, the ever present ‘Sleeping Warrior’ – the brooding and magnificent Isle of Arran.
