A Reasonable Doubt Original

"When I was a student I worked in a factory where they manufactured computers. There was a production line of sorts where pieces of the final puzzle would be slotted into place. The thing I remember most though, is the looks of bafflement on the faces of the workers. Like the central character in 'A Reasonable Doubt' to a one the workers became like automatons, almost a part of the machine. I found the banality soul-crushing, but I wasn’t there long enough to get the ‘face’ that said lobotomy in progress".
